In my professional life, I’ve had the privilege and honor to work with our active duty military service men and women and their families, a psychiatric hospital for more than six years, Orange and Seminole County public schools, and with incarcerated individuals. I am serving families throughout Florida, Georgia and Missouri.
In each of these experiences, I’ve grown both professionally and I’ve been humbled to cherish the value that each of these families has brought into my life and practice.
I created Illuminating Pathways to create a lifeline to effective mental health care with respect and compassion.
I’d describe my style of therapy as eclectic in nature of varying types of therapy with my focal point being YOU! I strive to learn you as an individual and create an experience that allows you to thrive.
I enjoy reading, swimming, scuba diving, traveling and spending time with my family that includes my Labradoodle, Linus, and my Toy Poodle, Mr. Mo.
But my true passion is for helping people make that inner transformation in their life. It's what I look forward to each day.
I look forward to getting to know you and your family, too.
It takes courage to make that first step into therapy, but it can be one of the best decisions you make.

Kay Campione, LMHC
She has oftentimes been called an Empath, but those who know her best call her, Kay.
Kay is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience. During her career, She has helped hundreds of families during their most challenging times in crisis. Kay has had the most success in her career helping clients with anxiety, ADHD, depression and relationship issues.
I firsthand have recognized Kay's passion and dedication to continuous education to bring her clients the latest evidence-based treatments.
Kay brings professional and personal experience in which has propelled her clients ahead by being able to quickly adapt to the unique needs of her clients and their stories.
Kay is one of the most non-judgmental individuals I have had the pleasure of working with. She holds space for each one of her clients by utilizing a person-centered approach. She highly values incorporating your values, lifestyle and preferences to recreating an even stronger lifestyle and relationship during the therapeutic process.
When I am not seeing clients, I enjoy pilates, yoga, nature and traveling the world. I am committed to supporting the World Wildlife Fun and Pet Alliance of Orlando.
Linus is in his senior years and volunteers his time providing comfort to many of our clients. Linus loves to cuddle and is very playful.
In his spare time, he enjoys a good belly rub, swimming, boating and fetching a ball or frisbee. He is not always in-office; call ahead and see when Linus is working to schedule an appointment with him, if preferred.
